I am a writer of literary fiction, theatre, and poetry.

Published short stories and flash include: X-Ray Magazine, Bath Flash Fiction Festival Anthology, Storgy, The Ogham Stone, The Molotov Cocktail, Flash Frontier, Fictive Dream and Reflex Fiction. Stage plays and scratch nights: Theatre N16, Cambridge Junction, Corpus Christi Playhouse and the ADC. Poetry published in various small and beautiful places.

Narratology, psychosis and faith are all repetitive themes, but the overarching pursuit is to explore the complexities of the natural world in conflict with the human condition. Inspiration comes in equal measure from urban galleries and high mountain tops. The works of Murakami, Ali Smith, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Angela Carter also hold a very important place in my life.

I studied at Cambridge School of Art and I have a BA in Creative Writing & English Literature. I am 26 years old, and I have no cats.

In terms of a life philosophy, I tend to agree with Mary Oliver:

‘There is only question: How to love this world.’
